We are currently looking for a Compounding Manager for a leading player in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

  • Reporting to: Factory Manager
  • Based in Selangor

the role

  • Compounding Operations:

    • Oversee daily operations of the compounding department to ensure production goals are met.
    • Develop and optimize latex or nitrile formulations to achieve desired glove properties.
    • Monitor raw material usage, quality, and inventory levels.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to compounding processes and equipment.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all compounding activities comply with quality standards, such as ISO, FDA, or EN.
    • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure consistency and adherence to product specifications.
    • Conduct regular audits of compounding processes and make improvements as necessary.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor the compounding team to achieve operational excellence.
    • Conduct training sessions on compounding techniques, safety protocols, and process improvements.
    • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations within the compounding department.

  • Research and Development:

    • Work closely with the R&D team to develop innovative formulations and processes.
    • Evaluate and implement new materials and technologies to enhance product performance.
    • Conduct trials for new formulations and prepare detailed reports on findings.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations.
    • Implement safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery.
    • Maintain accurate records of compounding processes for audits and regulatory reviews.

the experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering or any relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Strong knowledge of latex/nitrile formulations and compounding techniques.
